Abstract
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is seeking support to provide 30 American Indian/Alaskan Native students with an enriched experience at the 2005 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing (October 19-20, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico). The students will attend the conference as well as a series of special meetings designed to maximize their experiences, including a preconference forum to establish relationships and set expectations, daily summarizing discussions led by Native American faculty and professionals, presentations on career and graduate school options, and a summary session immediately following the conference.
