Abstract

0541604 Bolander Partial travel support is provided for a US delegation to participate in a workshop on the emerging scientific and technical areas relevant to the engineering of materials systems in the category of thin reinforced cement-based composites. The workshop will be held in Bangkok in early February of 2006 in conjunction with the International Symposium on Ferrocement and Thin Reinforced Composites. The goals of the workshop are to explore research needs, develop international collaborations, and outline education needs in this rapidly expanding field of advanced cement-based materials.
