0503281 Walden This award to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts provides support for the acquisition of moored profilers, sensors and transponder instrumentation to support physical oceanographic field programs. The instruments will be maintained by the WHOI Subsurface Mooring Group, and made available as a shared-use facility in support of NSF-funded research projects. They are expected to be of substantial advantage to scientists in their deep-sea research during 2005 and future years. ***
