Abstract
0525744 van der Vink The EarthScope National Meeting consists of pre-meeting workshops, plenary science and education talks, workshop summaries, poster sessions, short-courses, and panel discussions. The EarthScope National Meeting will: 1) summarize, discuss, and synthesize EarthScope science and education, 2) consolidate the results of regional workshops to identify common questions and research tools, 3) extend EarthScope outreach to the broad scientific community by scheduling an array of diverse talks, 4) update the community on ongoing EarthScope science and education progress, 5) continue to build the EarthScope community and concentrate on cross-cutting science, 6) promote interdisciplinary research, and 7) further define the vision of EarthScope science and how is it different from traditional science.
