Abstract

HRD 03-28587 The Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research of the Computing Research Association (CRA-W) is nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM) for its significant achievement in the mentoring of women across educational levels - undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and professionals. CRA-W provides hands-on research experiences, mentoring, role models and information exchange to women pursuing careers in this field. Also provided are workshops aimed at faculty, information for careers, access to senior role models, and networking opportunities.
