Abstract

Dr. Chung-Chiun Liu is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Liu is committed to mentoring female students from local high schools, as well as female undergraduate and graduate students, and female junior faculty members. He has had considerable success in encouraging high school students to enter science or technology programs in universities, encouraging undergraduates to participate in scientific or technological research and guiding graduate students. Dr. Liu appears to be a remarkable motivator of young women who has had considerable success in these endeavors; their accomplishments are impressive.
