Abstract

This award provides funding for the support of a three year continuing Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Site program entitled, "Enrichment Experiences in Engineering (ES3) for Teachers Summer Research Program," at Texas A&M University, under the direction of Dr. Karen L. Butler-Purry. This program will involve a minimum of 15 high school math and/or science teachers annually from Texas Urban System Initiative, Rural Systemic Initiative, and the Comprehensive Partnership for Mathematics and Science Achievement schools in research projects in the College of Engineering.
