Professor Jiri Janata of Georgia Institute of Technology is supported by the Analytical and Surface Chemistry and Chemical Transport Systems Programs to lead a workshop entitled "The New Challenges of Chemical and Biological Sensing." The workshop is held in response to events following Sept. 11, and will take place in Arlington VA January 9-10, 2002.
