Abstract

This award provides support for student attendance at the Interdisciplinary Laser Science Conference, to be held jointly with the annual meeting of the Optical Society of America in Providence, Rhode Island, 22-26 October, 2000. This is one of the major meetings covering principles of optical science and technology held each year. This award gives students exposure to the latest developments in optical science in a broad range of disciplines.
