Partial Travel Support for US Students Attending the MEMS 2000 Conference

Abstract

This proposal requests partial support for US Students who will be presenting papers at the IEEE International Conference on micro-electromechanical systems at the MEMS 2000 conference to be held at the Seagaia complex in Miyazaki, Japan from January 23-27, 2000. As in the past year the conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. The conference has a strong interdisciplinary scope, serving the electrical, mechanical, bio-medical, and the material engineering communities. The conference is expected to have about 130 papers.
