STATISTICAL SUPPORT SERVICES FOR NIEHS IN DNTP & DIR: Analysis of Multigenerational Toxicology Studies
Social And Scientific Systems, Inc., Silver Spring MD
Investigators
Abstract
This Statistical Support Services contract provides statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and computational support to researchers within the DTT and DIR at NIEHS in support of environmental health science and toxicology research. The contractor utilizes statistical, mathematical, and computational methods to analyze NIEHS study data. Multiple areas of research supported include diverse toxicology, environmental health and computational investigations. Toxicity testing is an important aspect of public health research in that it serves to identify chemicals that are hazardous to human health. Statisticians under this contract support NIEHS scientists answer key research questions through a full analysis pipeline, which includes processing data and understanding experimental design, identifying outliers, modeling data to answer study questions, visualizing and tabulating data, and contributing to the reporting of data to ensure that all details of analyses are captured.
