USCDI+ Cancer Program Support

Abstract
The USCDI+ Cancer Program has defined the real-world data (RWD) elements needed to further cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, registration, and care. Enhanced data exchange for research purposes and clinical care contribute to the U.S. governmentâs support of persons with cancer. This is an area of mutual interest and responsibility for agencies across HHS, as well as the White House. The work will be collaboratively managed with NCI and ASTP. This includes providing project management, clinical and technical standards, mapping existing or developing new cancer data elements, subject matter expertise, and health information exchange policy expertise for this RWD Cancer Initiative. It is expected that there will be weekly or every-other-week management meetings, which will include decision-making regarding project personnel, activities, and deliverables.
