Abstract

The contractor will screen a library of small molecules using human primary blood mononuclear cells to identify adjuvants able to induce polyfunctional T cell responses. Lead molecules will be subjected to mechanism-of-action studies, optimized through medicinal chemistry-approaches, and evaluated with different formulations for adjuvanticity when delivered with flu vaccines by different immunization routes.
