Abstract

Progress: • HIV project: We have optimized our model of Gp120 expression in a tumor model and succefully imaged the animals using 18F-lableed nanobodies. We also developed, in collaboration with NHLBI investigators, a method for site specific labeling of the nanobodies. We found that site-specifically labeled J3 is the best nanobody. We have already published our manuscript. We are now planning on testing the same nanobody in animal model of varying levels of gp120 expression. • Ebola and other high consequence viral infection: We are collaborating with the Integrated research facility on multiple studies evaluating Nipah, Lassa, Marburg, Covid-19 and Ebola infections. • Sars-Cov-2 project: We have finished our experiments and are currently writing the manuscript.
