Abstract

The NIH is seeking executive (senior scientific)-level, industry-experienced drug discovery and development SMEs with expertise in Pharmaceutics and Formulation to enable IND enabling toxicology and Phase I testing by providing technical guidance to the following programs: • The NIH Blueprint Neurotherapeutics [BPN] program. • Other NIH drug discovery and development programs. The Neuroscience Blueprint is a consortium of NIH institutes and Centers, which jointly formulate, fund and execute projects to advance the overall neuroscience research mission of NIH. The project teams are comprised of staff drawn from the individual Institutes. The Blueprint Neurotherapeutics Network (BPN) is a Blueprint program, which focuses on turning neuroscience advances to therapeutics for persons with disorders of the nervous system. The program includes individual drug discovery and development projects, which are initially funded based on peer review, but continuous funding is dependent upon performance on pre-defined milestones.
