Abstract

We are in the process of develping an assay for enrichment of HIV sequences from brain and for using long-range sequening to characterize these sequences. We have also developed a novel probe set to identify HIV reservoirs within different cell types in the brain using Xenium technology. We ahve also developed a high throughput assay to identify transcriptional blockers of the virus. Developing all these assays was a major under taking. We are now well positioned to address each of the objectives outlined above.
