Abstract
The Genome Analysis Core (TGAC), within the Human Immunology Section, was set up in 2014 to fulfill many of the specialist sequencing needs of the Vaccine Research Center (VRC). TGAC has developed a number of next-generation sequencing methodologies. These include: bulk and single cell 5'RACE for unbiased TCR and Ig sequencing, targeted sequencing of genomic loci, bulk and single cell mRNAseq for human, mouse and NHP, metagenomic sequencing, whole genome sequencing, exome sequencing. Finally, we have a robust microbiome sequencing program. The Genome Analysis Core use many instruments including Illumina and Pacific Biosciences platforms.
