Abstract

The research projects are focused on the discovery, implementation, improvement, and development of technologies and processes that are applied to producing investigational products for clinical trial use. Clinical trial participant safety is the primary objective of the discovery effort. The range of technologies is extensive, including rapid biomedical product production, analytical assessment, and stability for multiple biomedical product modalities. Avenues of research are lowering the cost of biomedical product manufacturing through cellular expression technology and improving safety of biomedical products through improved metabolic clearance of the administered biomedical product.
