Abstract

This project is a long-term clinical collaboration with Steve Pavletic (CCR/NCI) and is a large multidisciplinary intramural and extramural NIH effort to advance the study and treatments of chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). Using clinical specimens (skin biopsies) taken on a non-NIAMS protocol as well as extensively phenotyped patient material, we aim to make important advances in the field. This project is currently undergoing a transition with the retirement of Dr. Pavletic and myself from government employment in 2025. Several projects will be continued, primarily under CCR/NCI protocols.
