Abstract

We begin with recruitment, actively identifying and attracting promising candidates who align with our mission and values. Once selected, onboarding provides a structured introduction to the organization, its culture, and expectations, laying the foundation for success. Through development and growth, we equip trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their roles. This includes hands-on laboratory and research training, science communication, and leadership development. Ongoing performance management ensures regular evaluation and feedback, supporting both individual progress and organizational excellence. As trainees advance, we emphasize leadership development, fostering the next generation of scientific leaders. At the conclusion of the training period, we are developing guidance on an improved exit process that will include a final assessment and preparation for the transition into the next phase of their careers. Our commitment extends beyond training through alumni engagement-tracking outcomes, with aspirations to continue coaching and mentorship, and supporting long-term career development. This holistic framework ensures we cultivate not only exceptional researchers, but also a resilient, connected scientific community.
