Abstract

The goal of this conference is clearly in line with the mission of the NIH to conduct and support research in the causes, diagnosis, prevention, and cure of human diseases. This conference will facilitate and rapidly communicate advances in the discovery, development, and delivery of more effective therapeutic approaches to overcoming drug resistance in cancer and infectious diseases, while the conference venue will provide an interactive environment for both intra- and extramural scientists to discuss and benefit from themes of mutual interest.
