Abstract
Our research produces diagnostic tools for surgical pathology, especially new immunohistochemical markers. Of these coming to clinically used markers will be formally validated at least markers Schlafen 11 (Marker of cellular response to DNA damage), PKCBeta (marker for diagnosis of Ewing sarcoma). Both have been studies in several hundreds or more tumors. We are also working with Sarcoma DNA Methylation Classifier to clinically validate it for obtaining tumor type, and DNA copy number analysis. In addition, every year we train the next generation of pathologists.
