Abstract

During FY 2025, the Phase 1 clinical trial "A Phase I Trial of Anti-CC Chemokine Receptor 4 Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cells (CCR4 CAR T cells) for CCR4 expressing T-cell Malignancies including Peripheral T-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (PTCL) and Cutaneous T-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (CTCL)" completed review by the FDA and was allowed to proceed. It has received approval from the NIH Clinical Center Institutional Review Board and is on track to open for accrual before the end of FY2025. Progress for this study also includes coordination of needs for proper acquisition and storage of correlative samples. We are continuing a collaboration with the Clinical Research Correlatives Core in the Laboratory of Pathology to characterize both the product as well as samples from peripheral blood with multi-parameter flow cytometry. We also have identified a set of cell line models that express CCR4 for further study of CCR4-relevant pathways that could be modulated possibly in conjunction with CCR4 CAR T cells in future studies.
