Abstract

1) Worked with industry partners to maintain several interventional trials at the clinical center, three are ongoing (Protocols: 001099-C, 001563, and 001778) and one was closed by the partner secondary to futility based on early outcomes (Protocol 001582); 2) Developed a protocol under SRC and IRB consideration for continuous temperature monitoring at the clinical center and have worked to establish partnerships with a wearable device industry partner (Bluespark) outlining potential intramural and extramural projects dedicated to the early identification and management of immune-related toxicities, such as cytokine release syndrome. We have collaborated with IT, Cybersecurity and Digital Health colleagues to evaluate and integrate the CTM into our EMR as well as nursing digital phones for early febrile alerts; 3) Collaborating with intramural scientist, Dr. FitzGerald to develop a protocol for EGFRvIII and EGFR overexpressed/amplified tumors, including primary CNS tumors and other systemic solid malignancies; 4) Interviewed and hiring in-progress of displaced staff scientist for laboratory development as well as identification of laboratory space to facilitate novel discovery research; 5) Collaborated with the UOB and the U of Calgary on the potential development of a GPNMB-directed CAR in variant RCC and sarcoma.
