Abstract

Cellular immunotherapies: We developed CAR and TCR T-cell therapies for pediatric solid tumors. We are in the process of translating these therapies into clinical trials in the POB. Synthetic immunotherapies: We developed novel cytokine expression systems to boost cell therapies. Combination therapies: We developed new radiopharmaceutical treatments to be combined with CAR T-cell therapy. These new combinations are thought to overcome the challenges of the TME in solid tumors. All these efforts are being pursued for clinical translation. As a result of these efforts, the first antibody/cytokine/chemotherapy trial has been opened at the NCI based on preclinical work conducted in the Nguyen Lab.
