Abstract

Our efforts in this arena have uncovered numerous hypothesis-generating correlations for mechanistic interrogation in the laboratory. One of the pillars for scientific investigation as it relates to human cancer and treatment is observation and reporting of outcomes, some of which will be investigated through scientific method scrutiny. Our observations have extended across the gastrointestinal tract and encompass metastases from both adenocarcinomas and neuroendocrine tumors. The work has led us to pursue spatial transcriptomic and phospho-proteomic profiling of metastatic neuroendocrine cancers, immuno-cytokine evaluations for metastatic adenocarcinomas to liver, and the development of means to evaluate the new targets unveiled by our work though novel ex vivo humor models, and the investigation of injury mechanisms related to regional therapy.
