Abstract
The goal of this project is to see if salivary gland uptake of PSMA injected systemically can be blocked selectively blocked by using local blocking methods at the salivary gland level. The desired end point would be blocking salivary gland uptake of PSMA without affected the tumor update. During the last year, we have continued working on the project and have done some clinical translation of the approach into patients. While the data is being analyzed, it remains to be seen whether this salivary blocking approach can be successfully translated into the clinic.
