Abstract
The DTB has two clinical groups led by Dr. Anish Thomas for the small lung cancer (SCLC) patients and by Dr. Jaydira Del Rivero for the adrenocortical cancers (ACC) and neuroendocrine tumors. Additionally, two of the DTB facilities, the Pharmacodynamics facility (led by Dr. Roshan Sherstha) and the Pharmacogenomic facility (led by Dr. Pommier and William Reinhold) work in coordination with the clinical trials to provide biomarkers and genomic analyses and insights. Scoring for the DNA damage marker histone gamma-H2AX, which was discovered in the DTB is done by Dr. Christophe Redon in Dr. Aladjem's group. Clinical trials focus on DNA-targeted agents, primarily topoisomerase inhibitors and combination with ATR inhibitors.
