Abstract

We are using serial plasma specimens from patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer to assess mechanisms of treatment response using whole-genome sequencing, coupled with 5mC and 5hmC sequencing and direct ChIP-seq of several chromatin marks directly in plasma. We are developing new blood-based predictors of prostate cancer and lung cancer recurrence. We continue to collect serial plasma samples from additional cohorts, including patients receiving radiation therapy for biochemically recurrent prostate cancer.
