Abstract
We have developed a novel anti-CD19 CAR, designated Hu19-CD828Z, with human binding domains. This CAR has been successful against lymphoma (Brudno et al. Nature Medicine 2020). This CAR is currently being developed commercially for use against autoimmune diseases. We are testing this CAR as a treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We are evaluating data from a trial of an anti-CD19/CD20 CAR to determine the mechanism of neurologic toxicity seen on this trial. We have developed new anti-CD20 CARs. We are testing these preclinically, and we are doing work to initiate a clinical trial.
