Abstract

During the current reporting period, we have completed several phase I and II projects that have advanced drugs in clinical development. We have brought selumetinib to full approval for patients with NF1-related tumors, performed a definitive study of the combination of nilotinib and paclitaxel demonstrating activity in ovarian germ cell tumors for this novel set of drugs, brought two new compounds of the indenoisoquinoline class to the clinic (LMP 744 and LMP 776), completed a phase I trial of an ATR inhibitor and PARP inhibitor combination to modify the efficacy of cisplatin with excellent clinical results, made major contributions to streamlining the conduct of NCI-supported clinical trials, and conducted multiple complex spheroid screening studies of investigational agent combinations.
