Novel Pharmacotherapies for Metastatic Bladder Cancer

Abstract

During this period, the research team, developed cell-based assay across 8 different bladder cancer cell lines as well as 1 normal bladder cells. The developed assay was miniaturized to 1536 well plate format. We have performed the pilot screening of MIPE library of around 2500 compounds at 7-point concentrations. The qHTS screening results was analyzed using in house cheminformatics platform. As results, more than 140 compounds reveal activity against different stages of bladder cancer and confirm the absence of viability of normal cells. The next step is to perform large scale screening campaign against ~150K compounds.
