Abstract
To date, the OpenData Portal has rapidly shared more than half a million data points of drug repurposing screens, featuring 10,000 approved drugs or well-characterized compounds. The data platform initially focused on SARS-CoV-2 data, sharing more than a dozen SARS-CoV-2 targets and assays freely and completely with the global community. This immense dataset has already been used by external groups to build and refine predictive models of potential SARS-CoV-2 therapeutics. During the reporting period, the OpenData Portal has expanded its data-sharing efforts to new disease areas, and is focused on improving the accessibility and openness of OpenData Portal datasets to further enable data reuse and ease interpretation. This work is designed to allow the OpenData Portal resource to efficiently scale as existing data sources grow, and to expand in scope as new disease types and data sources are incorporated.
