CD206 activators as novel immunomodulators

Abstract

During this period, the collaborative team has worked on obtaining a cryo-EM structure of CD206 bound to small molecule ligands. Additionally, the team has identified novel CD206 activators through molecular modeling and medicinal chemistry efforts, which have been extensively characterized in a variety of in vitro and in vivo functional assays. Small molecule effects on macrophage phenotypes and anti-tumor activity were characterized. The team nominated a candidate to advance towards clinical trials, and the IND-enabling studies are underway.
