Abstract

This project aims to identify antagonists of endoplasmic calcium depletion, utilizing the SERCaMP reporter assay. Compounds and targets identified in this screen will enable better characterization of diseases associated with calcium dysfunction and guide development of future therapies. During this period, the collaborative team continued small molecule optimization and target identification efforts on previously identified and validated hit scaffolds. Additionally, a computational approach was developed to utilize the high-throughput screening data to uncover mechanisms and targets that are associated with the phenotypic assay.
