Abstract

In FY2025 we looked to further assess PfSPZ Vaccine (a malaria vaccine developed by Sanaria, consisting of radiation-attenuated, purified, cryopreserved Plasmodium falciparum sporozoites (SPZ) and second generation PfSPZ Vaccine LARC2 (Late liver stage-Arresting and Replication-Competent) in expanded populations (young children, women of child-bearing potential (WOCBP), pregnant women) but due to budgetary limitations we had to place clinical studies on hold for another year, and focused our efforts on preclinical studies instead.
