Abstract

NIH/NIDCR collaborates with CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics to incorporate an Oral Health Component/Study in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). These data will be used by NIH/NIDCR to help accomplish its mission. NIH/NIDCR advances fundamental knowledge about dental, oral, and craniofacial health and disease and translates these findings into prevention, early detection, and treatment strategies that improve overall health.
