Abstract
Colleagues and I are in the midst of collecting data for a study examining the influence of patients' presentation with polygenic risk genomic information at their clinical visit. This study assesses how polygenic risk reports influence clinical care decisions and interpersonal behavior in the context of type 2 diabetes. This work also evaluates patient characteristics as a potential moderator of effects. We have also collaborated with several other colleagues on work of this nature including masters students from the NIH/JHU Genetic Counseling Training Program.
