Abstract
Objective 1. Lab personnel first-authored one paper this year (postdoctoral first author L. Marineau) based on Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) data. Objective 2. During FY2025, one postdoctoral fellows graduated from the program and secured a second postdoctoral appointment in a complementary target specialty. The lab retained an additional postdoctoral fellow and additionally hired a research fellow to provide advanced training and experience in ecological momentary assessment-based study designs and implementation. Objective 3. Collaborative efforts continued within NIMHD. Members of the NHL were co-authors on three additional papers first-authored by fellows in one other NIMHD DIR lab this fiscal year, one accepted in early August and thus not yet published so not attached to this report (Dr. Tamura), and active work between Neighborhoods and Health Lab personnel and two additional labs (Drs. Choi and El-Toukhy) have and are taking place. In addition, Neighborhoods and Health Lab personnel were instrumental in the design and deliver of the NIMHD DIR summer bootcamp and the construction of the NIMHD DIR BRIGHT study instruments. In short, the efforts of the NIMHD DIR as a whole have been greatly supported by the contributions of Neighborhoods and Health lab personnel.
