Abstract

Project Summary/Abstract SBIR Phase II Award Number: 2R44GM148126-02A1 Award Title: Improving extraction success of FFPE samples with automated and reliable microfluidic sample preparation Redbud Labs is requesting TABA supplemental funding to support commercialization planning for its SBIR Phase II project focused on automated extraction of nucleic acids from FFPE tissue samples. The proposed activities include external market research, voice-of-customer interviews, competitive landscape analysis, and development of strategic messaging and commercialization collateral. These efforts will help validate market demand, inform go-to-market strategy, and accelerate adoption of Redbud’s microfluidic FFPE platform. The work will be performed by i5 BioPartners and complements the technical R&D supported under the parent award.
