FDA Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (LFFM) RFA-FD-25-007 Other Project Information (Overall) â Project Summary Abstract Nebraska Department of Agriculture Laboratory The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) Feed, Fertilizer, & Agricultural Lime (FFAL) Laboratory is seeking funding under the FDA funding opportunity RFA-25-007, "Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (LFFM)â. The NDA FFAL Laboratory is committed to working with the FDA to enhance the capacity and capabilities of state human and animal food testing laboratories to support the overall goal of an integrated food safety system (IFSS). The NDA Regulatory Program and NDA FFAL Laboratory support the goals and aims of this funding opportunity. Our Research Strategy will describe how the NDA FFAL Laboratory meets the eligibility requirements of this funding opportunity. The research plan will also demonstrate that the NDA FFAL Laboratory is competent and has the capability to achieve the program requirements and goals outlined in the funding opportunity. The NDA FFAL Lab will use the grant funding to perform 100 chemical analyses on animal food products through the Chemistry Analytical Track, B2 â Animal Food Product Testing. The funding would continue to support the overall goals of the NDA and FFAL Laboratory by protecting the animal food supply in Nebraska.
