Abstract
Project Summary: The Michigan Bureau of Laboratories in partnership with FDA will maintain required aims for the Food Defense Track. This includes attending of at least 2 key personnel LFFM annual face to face meetings with oral and/or poster presentation, the maintenance of FERN membership (to include annual membership veriï¬cation) maintenance of a valid 20.88 with FDA, maintenance of facilities and personnel to ensure capacity, participation in routine track webinars and meetings, timely response to inquiries from FDA/LFFM staï¬, participation and successful passing of annual proï¬ciency testing, participation in small-scale method development, validation, and matrix extension works, support overï¬ow, emergency, surge capacity and other assignments in a ï¬exible manner to meet programmatic needs and initiatives, maintenance of ISO17025 accreditation, provide training and mentorship to other state laboratories, ensure methods utilized within the scope of the track are validations.
