Abstract
Project Summary The Communication and Dissemination Core (Core C) shares and publicizes information about CDHA activities and resources via multiple platforms and to varied academic, policy, and public audiences. In addition to developing and maintaining CDHAâs web site as an information resource for CDHA affiliates, other researchers, and the public at large, Core C staff also produce and manage a set of quarterly newsletters, weekly digests, and social media accounts (Twitter/X, Bluesky, LinkedIn) promoting CDHA events, highlighting emerging research in the demography of health and aging, celebrating affiliate achievements, and publicizing opportunities for funding and collaboration. Core C staff also manages publicity and communication around CDHA regular and special events, and tracks and documents CDHA affiliatesâ compliance with NIH data management and sharing policy. Finally, as the landscape of research and mass communication continues to change, CDHA will experiment with new platforms and innovations in communications as they emerge, allowing us to continue engaging effectively with our affiliates and broader publics.
