Abstract
360° CHAT-TMD Admin ABSTRACT The 360° Collaborative Hub for AI in TMD Research (360° CHAT-TMD) will create a national, interdisciplinary, patient-centered research collaborative focused on temporomandibular disorders (TMD). 360° CHAT-TMD supports the mission of the TMD Collaborative for IMproving PAtient-Centered Translational Research (IMPACT) by developing robust educational and mentoring models; mechanistic and clinical predictive models, and outreach strategies, and AI/ML tools for personalized and systemic phenotyping tailored for specific situations. Ultimately, the hub aims to establish new scalable and optimized clinical standards for TMD care based on risk, severity, and comorbid conditions by leveraging a multidisciplinary team from the University of Michigan, Mass General Brigham, Harvard University, and patient communities. To ensure the success of this collaborative hub, an Administrative Core (AC) has been established to oversee the management of day-to-day program activities, support communication strategies, and ensure compliance with federal regulations through three specific aims: AIM 1: Oversee the day-to-day management of 360° CHAT-TMD activities; AIM 2: Coordinate data and biospecimen sharing, regulatory, and clinical documentation to support 360° CHAT-TMD, and AIM 3: Integrate and support the 360° CHAT-TMD with IMPACT. Led by contact PI Alexandre DaSilva, the AC will provide the essential infrastructure and operational support necessary for the successful implementation and execution by leveraging advanced AI/ML techniques and clinical translation of innovative TMD/pain research. The collaborative fully supports the TMD IMPACT mission, with development of robust educational and mentoring models; mechanistic and clinical tools, and outreach strategies, and AI/ML-technology tools for personalized and systemic phenotyping.
