Abstract
PROJECT SUMMARY/ABSTRACT â Core D: External Innovative Network Core The objective of Core D is to facilitate the development and successful impact of research networks linking researchers at UC Berkeley and beyond such that CEDAâs signature themes â both proposed and as they emerge â can be supported and fostered. We build upon our currently existing high impact networks supported by CEDA, particularly the National Transfer Accounts network that has great promise for continuing high profile work with policy impact, as well as other productive CEDA networking activities. To achieve our objective, Core Dâs first aim is to support a variety of meeting and webinar activities aiming to develop new research ideas and productive new collaborations advancing research on the economics and demography of aging. The second aim is to conduct technical assistance to help produce high quality, harmonized data and analyses within CEDA networks. Ultimately we expect to see more foundational research accomplished, allowing the transformation of research into policy.
