Abstract
The University of Southern California (USC) Center for Optimization of Participant Engagement for Cancer Characterization (USC COPECC) aims to advance genomic research methodologies by optimizing participant engagement practices. USC COPECC, functioning as an NCI U2C Participant Engagement in Cancer Genome Sequencing (PE-CGS) Center within the NCI PE-CGS Network, is managed by an Administrative Core (AC) that serves as the central coordinating body. The Administrative Core oversees the Center's operations, including management, coordination, strategic planning, and dissemination of results. USC COPECC leverages established processes for genomic study participation, drawing on expertise from leading genome scientists and specialists in oncology, genetic counseling, epidemiology, and behavioral science. The Administrative Core guides the strategic direction of the Center, manages implementation strategies, performs continuous quality improvement based on evaluations, and ensures efficient communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
