Abstract

ABSTRACT – ADMINISTRATIVE CORE The ROAR administrative core will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and oversight of all aspects of the ROAR consortium under the direction of the MPIs (Dr. V. Reid Sutton and Dr. Lindsay Burrage). The MPIs will work closely with the ROAR administrative coordinator and the executive leadership committee to lead the ROAR consortium with input from an external advisory committee and two patient advocacy groups (PAGs). The administrative core will also provide statistical and bioinformatics support for all ROAR investigators and ROAR projects through a biostatistics and bioinformatics core. The administrative core will lead the consortium with the following specific aims: 1) Establish subcontracts and coordinate funds allocation and transfer within the ROAR consortium, 2) Coordinate communications and organize meetings for the ROAR consortium. 3) Manage and oversee regulatory documentation, clinical documentation, data management, data sharing policies, NIH progress reports, and project milestones among ROAR consortium sites, the NIH, the DMCC, and the central IRB and data safety monitoring board, 4) Establish an external advisory committee and organize ROAR consortium meetings with the external advisory committee, 5) Engage and disseminate information about the ROAR consortium in collaboration with ROAR consortium sites, the RDCRN DMCC, and the ROAR patient advocacy group partners, and 6) Provide statistical and bioinformatic support services for all ROAR consortium sites.
