Abstract
Summary We have identified a novel driver of treatment failure in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, termed antibiotic resilience, where the bacteria have improved recovery after antibiotic exposure. Population genomic and genetic studies implicate a novel transcriptional regulatory network in control of antibiotic resilience, which we will dissect through genomically informed structure-function studies and in treatment models.
