Abstract
Abstract The Atherosclerosis and Bioinformatics Core (Core C) within the Program Project grant âTriglycerides, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseaseâ will provide all three individual Projects with expertise in pathology- based analytical techniques to evaluate atherosclerotic lesions. Techniques include histological staining and immunohistochemistry. The Core will also provide expertise in RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and CITE-seq bioinformatics analyses as a complement to the Program Project investigatorsâ projects. This Coreâs repertoire of high-quality analyses of atherosclerosis will substantially enhance the scientific progress of the three individual projects.
