Abstract

Alterations and Renovation: Summary The Center for Implementation Science requests funding for core space for working, gathering, and meeting collaboration. This cross-functional team from three Dartmouth College schools and broader, as the program aims to recruit adjunct teaching faculty in expert functional areas of implementation science, the space will serve as the home base and hub of activity for the center. The project will work with Geisel, Computer Science, and Thayer, drawing ties across professional schools and undergraduate divisions. The program will regularly bring people together in a dedicated physical space to add in-person engagement to augment its online remote presence. This space will position the center within the main medical campus. This space is co-located with two other COBREs, Drs Whitfield and Karagas, providing the program with additional collaboration and mentorship. This start-up space will provide the opportunity to bring the Implementation Research Core together by providing an office space for three research project leaders: Sarah Lord (Core Director), Kelly Aschbrenner (co-director of the center), a research scientist, a shared office for Elizabeth Carpenter-Song and Sol Diamond (drop-down space for co-investigators), and a meeting, collaboration, and online teaching space. There is also access to a shared kitchen. As the center grows, the research team is seeking to acquire space for additional office space for the COBRE PI, Dr. Jeremiah Brown, the program manager Julia Shaw, space for three new faculty hires, extra conference space, office space for an educational director, a marketing director, and an additional research director. In addition to the submitted plans, the program currently uses three offices on the 6th floor of the Williamson Translational Building.
